More a district than a province, Godsown covers the lands immediately around the Astral Palace and the Holy Shrines, mainly consisting of rich monastries and pilgramage sites and is the touristic centre of the Empire. Apart from attracting huge numbers of the dvout Godsown also weilds the power of the divine institutions of the Church of the Twelve Aspects and the Knights Divine. It is said that within a number of the temples are individuals with the power of communicate with the gods themselves and can even meet with them given the right rituals and components.
